Softball tourney

Pride Athletics will hold an adult one-pitch softball tournament Friday and Saturday at Dayspring Baptist Church, 4220 Frontage Road, Augusta. Cost is $175 per team. Duathlon

The Marshall Family Y will hold its Cloverleaf Duathlon on Saturday. The race will start at Publix at Riverwood Plantation and will consist of a 2-mile run, a 10-mile bike ride and another 2-mile run. The race is open to ages 16 and up. Participants can compete individually, as a two-person team or a three-person team. Participants can register at www.thefamilyy.org or www.active.com. Turkey shoot

Riverview United Methodist Church will hold a turkey shoot from 5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and March 19-20. The shoots will benefit the church's building fund. Cost is $5 per shot, and shells will be provided. For information, visit www.riverviewumc.org.

Golf tournament

Augusta Christian Schools will hold its annual golf tournament with lunch at noon March 19 at Bartram Trail Golf Club followed by a 1:15 p.m. shotgun start. Proceeds will benefit the school's athletic program. Corporate and individual participants are welcome, and corporate hole sponsors are needed. Yard sale

Harlem Middle School will hold a community yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 20 in the school parking lot. The event will benefit the school's athletic booster club. For information, call Trent McDaniel at (706) 825-5700.

River trips

Savannah Riverkeeper will offer two-day trips on the Savannah River on Saturday and Sunday and April 17-18 as an educational opportunity for middle school students. The cost is $75 per person and will be limited to the first 40 students who sign up. At the end of the trip, the student who writes the best report will win a new laptop. Haydens day
